Freelancing

I've been working for my friend, Vincent, the last few months as a freelancer. I worked with Vincent, a retired Marine Gunnery Sergeant, at Navy Marine Corps News while he was on active duty. He's had his own production company for years. The first project was as a production assistant on a documentary about a glass artist. Then, the other week I went out to the Maryland International Raceway with him to shoot a commercial. This Sunday I'll be doing an interview for an upcoming documentary on a motorcyclist. It's been a lot of fun. I anticipate plenty of more work with him and other outlets. With Discovery Communications, Inc. nearby, there are many production companies working on projects to pitch to those folks. (DCI owns TLC, Travel Channel, Military Channel, Animal Planet, BBC America and more).
